I had a pair of the original imported Israeli boots like this and they were fun to wear. I did not submit them to any extended rugged or wet environments, they were good for wearing as "advanced" sneakers with goot ankle support from the buckle-on collar. Good buy for the price, though it would be hard to regard these as "combat boots" unless for a special kind of mission in sandy terrain.
