MRE's How Does it Taste?: Crunchy with a texture like a Whopper malted milk ball however, once you place it in your mouth, it quickly dissolves, “melts”, in your mouth. It really tastes like a normal ice cream sandwich, just dry, not frozen. Ready to eat directly from the pouch anytime, anywhere! Just a quick note, due to the freeze-drying process and shipping, ice cream bars typically do not arrive in one piece but are "broken" into smaller chunks.
