Offically known as the "VS-17 Signal Marker" that is used by the United States Military. An excellent highly visable ground position marker that can be quickly spotted by aircraft. Ideal for campers, snowmobilers, ATV's, boats, Search & Rescue teams, fire, police, etc. It can be attached to vehicles, trucks, backpacks, trees, or just about anything that needs to be identified from the air, or use as a ground cloth under your sleeping bag.  In the military, they are often laid out on the ground to identify troop positions to friendly aircraft.    Each Panel comes equipped with six (6) gromented nylon tie-down strings (one in each corner and two in the center) for attachment to just about anything. Snaps on the ends also for multiple panels to be joined together. Two different bright colors are on the side of the panel; High visibility PINK on one side and a high visibility ORANGE on the other. Either is perfect for identifying persons in distress to search teams and aircraft. Panel folds up into it's own attached OD green pouch.   Made to Military Specifications of tough fabric that won’t be torn up from wind like many lighter duty panels. The panel measures 20"x 72". An essential piece of heavy-duty survival gear.
