Eye Medic™ Cartridge Eyewash

The Eye Medic Emergency Eyewash System is the safest and easiest solution for OSHA compliance needs. The purified flushing fluid eliminates the risk of further contamination of the user's eyes from dirty or stale water. The spray nozzles deliver a soft full stream in excess of the ANSI Z358.1 minimum recommended flows. The compact space saving design offers unlimited installation options. The two-year life of the fluid cartridges and their easy replacement, reduces maintenance costs.

  • In the event of interruption of the cold water supply, the control mechanism closes off the hot water port, stopping all flow.

  • In the event that the liquid motor fails, the control mechanism closes off the hot water port with the reverse seat and fully opens the internal variable bypass to allow cold water flow

Alarms and Signs
AL-2 SE-950 FPV & SPV
The Speakman line of emergency equipment is complemented by a wide assortment of alarms, test equipment, safety valves and high visibility signs to make certain that your safety program and equipment are in optimal condition.
Alarm Systems:
AL-1: Air alarm system for horizontal showers and combination units. Unit is pull rod activated. Consists of air canister, mounting bracket and horn.
AL-2: Flow switch activated alarm with flashing light and horn. Unit activates when flow to fixture is detected. (AL-2-C1D2 for applications requiring Class 1 Division 2 electrical requirements)
AL-3: Flow switch activated alarm with flashing light and horn. Unit activates when flow to fixture is detected. Equipped with a silencing switch to deactivate audible and visual signals while emergency fixture is still in operation. (AL-3-C1D2 for applications requiring Class 1 Division 2 electrical requirements)
FLW: Flow switch to operate remote alarm station. When flow switch senses flow to emergency fixture a switch is closed sending signal to remote station.

Safety Valves:
FPV: Automatic freeze protection for emergency showers and eyewashes. Thermostatic element in valve senses ambient temperature and if this falls below 40º F, the valve opens allowing water to flow. The valve will remain open as long as the water temperature is less than 40º F.
SPV: Automatic scald protection for emergency showers and eyewashes. Thermostatic element in valve senses water temperature and if this rises above 95º F, the valve opens, allowing water to flow. The valve will remain open as long as the water temperature is above 95º F.

Safety Accessories:
SE-Curtain: Privacy curtain for attaching to horizontal emergency showers and combination units. Consists of curtain rod, privacy curtain and mounting hardware
SE-950: Shower and eyewash test kit to support weekly testing of equipment as required by ANSI Z358.1. Consists of 5 gallon catch bucket, shower testing funnel with holding rod and eyewash test gauge.
SE-952: Eyewash test gauge to perform testing as required by ANSI Z358.1
