Eye Medic™ Cartridge Eyewash The Eye Medic Emergency Eyewash System is the safest and easiest solution for OSHA compliance needs. AL-2: Flow switch activated alarm with flashing light and horn. Unit activates when flow to fixture is detected. (AL-2-C1D2 for applications requiring Class 1 Division 2 electrical requirements) AL-3: Flow switch activated alarm with flashing light and horn. Unit activates when flow to fixture is detected. Equipped with a silencing switch to deactivate audible and visual signals while emergency fixture is still in operation. (AL-3-C1D2 for applications requiring Class 1 Division 2 electrical requirements) FLW: Flow switch to operate remote alarm station. In the event of interruption of the cold water supply, the control mechanism closes off the hot water port, stopping all flow.
In the event of interruption of hot water supply, the control mechanism allows cold flow through both the fixed and variable bypass.
In the event that the liquid motor fails, the control mechanism closes off the hot water port with the reverse seat and fully opens the internal variable bypass to allow cold water flow
