QuickPitch Tent

Tents have been around for so long they even get a mention in the Old Testament. But although tent technology has come on leaps and bounds over the millennia, you still need the patience of Job to put the pesky things up. A shame, because nothing beats climbing into a cosy tent after a hard day's hike or an evening spent wading round the festival campsite.
But who can be bothered with all that confusing canvas and pole-pitching palaver? We know we can't. That's why we just love the ingenious QuickPitch tent. The clue's in the name because these nifty tents simply pop open the second you release their retaining straps. All you then do is peg it down. Brilliant, eh?
Weighing only 2kg, with a pack size of 78cm in diameter, QuickPitch is supremely portable. Featuring solid fibreglass core poles, taped seams, double stitched flysheets (in 1500mm waterproof* polyester and nylon), plus a waterproof groundsheet, the QuickPitch will keep you and maybe a companion or two as snug as bugs in rugs.
Unlike some self-pitching tents, the QuickPitch is free from spring-loaded sliding catches, so you won't trap your fingers when it boings open. Even a first time camper can erect one in a couple of minutes - ideal if the rain starts pouring unexpectedly.
Fun Camo
Just think, with a QuickPitch you won't find yourself in some Krypton Factor-style pickle, surrounded by poles with a faceful of fabric. Putting up the QuickPitch is easier than pulling your pants up. And if you're on a campsite you can laugh at fellow campers from the comfort of your QuickPitch as they make total Terry Scotts out of themselves.
In fact, talking of proper carry ons and camping, isn't it time you stopped messin' about and ordered a QuickPitch Tent!

Really is worth it! I've practiced just 3 times now and have already got used to putting it back. You can look real smug too when your mates are messing around with their tents as you leave it till last minute or do it in seconds and watch from the comfort of your tent.

WHAT A PRODUCT!! Always hated putting up tents and then this came along. Watch the video here first to get used to packing it away, but once you've practiced even that bit's easy, and it's the easiest thing in the world to put up. Guaranteed to win the man test at V this year!! Well done Firebox on another sterling product.

By Goodness does this 'ping' open! To look really cool, throw it like a frizbee and then causally walk over to your ready made tent! Priceless!!!

Absolutely immense. From how awesome it sounds I was expecting to be disappointed but I wasn't at all. Although the instructions for putting away were absolutely useless, when you get the hang of it it's so easy. Bring on the Summer!

What a life saver. I arrived late for work at a festival. My friends kindly saving a spot. Tent was up in an instant and I was able to join straight in the party atmosphere. The rain came down and despite my fears my tent was one of the few to remain water tight. Plus in the presence of rain on the sunday morning my tent was down and in the car before any one else had even got their first pole out. I hardly got wet at all. Suprisingly spacious. Future design could with a small porchway but thats just me wanting more :).

When the tent popped out of it's bag I laughed out loud - it reminded me of one of those old movies where they pull the ripcord on an inflatable dinghy indoors - but I was thinking we'd have to live with it on the kitchen floor for ever until I got onto your website! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Hours of fun ahead, I think, even if it's only putting it up and taking it down!

Lost the packing away instructions and spent almost an hour figuring how to put it away. Thank gawd for the video, I had it down in 30 secs.

We spent ages trying to figure out how to pack it away! Then we tried the video on here... Thanks so much! Goes up in an instant and goes down just as quickly now! Thanks again.
