4 of 5 Nice knife, poor belt clip Thursday, August 23, 2007 A Customer from Dallas, TX
The knife itself is very nice and the sheath keeps it well. The belt clip, however, comes off very easily, I've dropped the knife at least twice while wearing it on my belt. Was this review helpful?

This knife is a bargain. It's beautiful, quality-made and great for any woman or man who needs a couple of friends while walking through a dark (or well lit) parking lot. Remember that woman who got stuffed into her car by some guy and they found her several days later, raped, beaten and dead? If she'd had one of these in her hand, the assailant might have been the one with a toe tag in the morgue (or, at least he would have been called "Scarface" for the rest of his life. Oh, and this knife is double-bladed, polished and made from 440C stainless steel. Not many knives are made of this anymore. They're usually made of 420 or 440A, which is junk.
The knife also has a strong chain, too hard to rip off a person, yet not strong enough to choke someone. It might help to know some anatomy. This is a slashing and thrust weapon. In a dark, quiet place where someone might try to stuff YOU into a car, Smith and Wesson will be there to give you a hand. Get your daughter one, your wife one and then get one for yourself.
Self defense is not nearly as difficult as the pacifists who tell you not to resist tell you it is. (See the movie CELLULAR for an example.)
It beats spray on a windy day!
